Lindsay Gandolfo

My name is Lindsay Gandolfo and I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade!  A little about me... I'm from Houston.  I actually grew up right across the street and attended school at RCE!  Roadrunner Class of 1989!  I went to Memorial Middle School and graduated from Stratford in 1996.  While at SHS I was heavily involved in the drama department... performing in 42nd Street, Singing in the Rain, The Music Man, Oliver, and Lost in Yonkers (to name a few.)

I am the first Aggie in my family, and a proud member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2000!  WHOOP!  I studied education abroad in Italy while attending A&M, and spent some time back-backing in France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, and Austria.  I loved Rome, Italy so much, I moved there for the summer before graduating in the fall.  I graduated with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Math.  I began teaching immediately after graduating and taught 4th grade at Nottingham Elementary for two years before coming over to Rummel Creek!  I taught 3rd, 1st, and 5th grade!  After 5 years, I was sad to leave (because I moved), and taught one year in Katy at Griffin Elementary.  It was such a joy teaching at the school my oldest niece and nephew were attending!  Shortly after, I left teaching to raise my children!

Once my children were school aged, I was anxious to get back into the classroom, and was super excited to come back to my ole stopping grounds!  I am blessed that my children can call themselves Roadrunners too!  My son, Cooper (12) was at RCE for 5 years and is attending Spring Forest Middle School as a 6th grader, Camilla (10), is a 5th grader at RCE, and Bella (8), is in 3rd grade at RCE!  They love this school and are proud to be Roadrunners!

I am thrilled to be starting my 13th year of teaching, and 10th year at RCE!

Here's me in 3rd Grade at RCE!
