I am excited to be back teaching math full time after a very long break spent raising five children.  All five attended VOE, SBMS and graduated from MHS, the last two in 2020.  Working at the school that did such an outstanding  job educating my children, is a true honor.

On the personal side, I was born in New York and spent my first ten years in San Pedro Sochiapam, Oaxaca Mexico. My parents worked doing linguistics and translations.  We moved to New Jersey and eventually Dallas.  I love Texas!  After meandering my way through college and graduating, I realized my mother was correct and I was meant to be a teacher.  I returned to University and obtained my certification in Secondary Education in the fields of Math and History.  While I enjoy learning history, teaching math gives me joy.  I meet my husband while living in Dallas and I decided to stay home when our first child was born.  In 1997 we moved to Houston in the Spring Branch area and are thrilled to be a part of this community.

I look forward to together, doing great things.
