Spring Branch ISD

Meet the SLP!

Hi! My Name is Erin Wallace and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Rummel Creek Elementary! I have been working as a Speech-Language Pathologist for Spring Branch ISD for 5 years now, with experience prior to that in private practice and the hospital setting. I am proud to hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Your child will have a great year in Speech! We will play games, read books, do a few hands-on/make-and-take activities, and… practice, practice, practice! I find that having fun, using things they are interested in, and changing up our activities in Speech helps to promote progress and growth. I’m super excited to make this an amazing year and I look forward to working with you and your child!

I am a proud former Roadrunner! I grew up right here in the neighborhood and my parents still live right down the street from Rummel Creek! I then attended Memorial Middle School and graduated from Stratford High School in 2008 where I was very involved as a member of the Spartanaire Dance Team!

I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech Pathology from Baylor University in 2012. I then went on to receive my Master of Science Degree in Speech Pathology from Baylor University in 2013. I was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and served as Treasurer for the local chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. Sic ‘Em Bears!
